The mermaids are fashioned after a vintage print for "Brault Limonade." The distinguishing characteristics are the shape of the tail, the small of the butt, and the holding hands. She also wanted to incorporate the compass rose in the center. I took another vintage print supplied by the client to create a background. I also added the shading to the compass.
